When we were kids, camping and caravanning with our families was a tradition.
Almost every long weekend, school holiday, and any opportunity to – we packed up and headed off to our favourite destination.
In fact, most of our childhood friends were those we met at our summer caravaning destination each year. Lifetimes of memories were created in the dirty, sandy paths of the caravan park and the river that flowed through it. Like most families, wherever we went, there was almost always a river, a beach or a lake to float around in.
We spent hours outside, making our own fun with whatever we could find. As a few now middle-aged men, we had no gaming consoles, iPads, or mobile phones; those days didn’t even exist. You made your own fun.
If someone had a TV, it took about ten hours to get a signal, and even then, it was shaky; no one bothered.

Our indoor showroom is designed for customer comfort and to create a welcoming atmosphere. It’s a place to wander about, see all that is in stock, rain, hail or shine, kids and well-behaved doggos welcome.
It has made a huge difference for our customers since we moved from an outdoor yard to an indoor showroom. A huge investment we made for the comfort and convenience of our customers.
Custom caravan design suite & lounge.
The design suite is carefully curated to give you a closer look at what is possible when you design and build your family caravan with us. Frequently updated with on-trend and traditional fittings, fixtures and materials, it is a space to create your unique caravan on your own, or with our experienced designers (us)!
Wherever you feel most comfortable discussing what will be an investment in your family’s future holidays suits us just fine. We are ready to chat when you are, whether it is in the caravan layout you have chosen, our lounge area with a cuppa and a snack or in the design suite, open five days a week, we don’t mind multiple visits just for you to browse at your leisure.

There is no extra charge to have a big-name brand on the side of your caravan – and we guarantee our family caravans will last just as long, if not longer than some others on the market!
As part of the Great Escape Caravans family, our customers have access to all the support they need through the community or by calling us. There have been many occasions when we have taken a call on a long weekend or public holiday to troubleshoot an issue, especially for those new to caravanning.
Our favourite days are pick-up days, and handover is never a simple handover of the keys. We make sure you are confident to hit the highway and pull up to your first camping site to set up before we say goodbye (for now).
